Carpe Diem Planner | Summer Setup

Hello! Today I wanted to share how I set up my Coral A5 Carpe Diem Planner for summer. This coral planner matched way more than you think it would! I love how the colors of my accessories pop against it. I mostly used the DCWV Bahama Mama paper pad from Michael’s to set this planner up. I made a few dividers and cut up some of the quote cards that were included in the paper pad. I also used a couple pieces from my May Planner Society kit. I used a green rosette fabric trim from my stash to pull it all together. The pineapple charm at the bottom of the planner on the rings is by Vera Bradley. I hope you enjoyed seeing my setup! Do you change up your planners according to the season?

Scrapbook Layout | Fun & Yum

Hello! Happy Sunday! Fall is in the air around here!!  🙂

Today I wanted to share a new layout. Over Labor Day weekend, we were able to go down to Amish country and spend some time walking around. There are so many wonderful things to do & see there. The fresh air is refreshing too! It was a beautiful day, and we had a delicious lunch, and I wanted to document it. So, here’s my layout!

Scrapbook Layout | Perfection

Today I wanted to share a new layout… that’s right, I finally was able to make some new stuff!  🙂 I had to scrap some new photos I took of our rose of sharon in the garden. It is gorgeous! When it blooms, it kind of kicks off fall for me!

August in Photos

Hello! We are knocking on September and fall’s door, aren’t we?

Well, in the meantime, I wanted to do a little photo roundup of August. August was all about my Happy Planner (still obsessed!), the heat, birthdays, get-togethers, all the new magazines, flowers, and getting bitten by all the bugs outside. Ouch! Overall, it was a good month. It’s funny, I took fewer photos this month than in previous months, but the ones I did take are so much more meaningful!

Summer in Black & White

I have been wanting to do a black & white summer series of photographs for a long time! I finally just went out and did it last weekend. Black & white photos in general leaves some imagination to the viewer, unlike color photos that spell everything out to you. Black & whites are mysterious in a way, and challenge you as a photographer to tell the story without color.

Last week, I shared Summer in Color… don’t know which series I like better! I think there’s room enough for both.  🙂

Summer in Color

Hello there!

I’m a sucker for bright summer hues! It’s been so hot this summer, and sometimes it feels like the flowers have been scorched to death, but if I look close enough, there’s still activity in the garden! I took my camera around the other day to see what I could find… and I found lots of color!  🙂
