Planner Details Roundup

Hello! If you’re like me, you can easily spend a couple hours a day on Instagram just looking at all the prettiness. Photography inspires me like nothing else, so instead of just looking at photographs, I am trying to take more of them myself!

Here is a roundup of some of my favorite recent planner related photographs I’ve taken. I’ve shared some on my IG account… some I have not. Enjoy!

Do you have a planning related account (or just one with pretty pictures!)? I would love to follow you. Leave your IG handle in the comments!

Happy Planner Weekly Spreads | August 14-20

Hello!! Another new week is beginning… and where has the summer went? It’s mid-August already. I can’t believe it! But, I’m trying to enjoy what’s left of the summer while also looking forward to a beautiful autumn season that awaits.  🙂

Today, I’m sharing my weekly spreads in my Happy Planners. First up is my Classic Happy Planner. I have been wanting to have a sunflower spread for a while now, and I finally found a really cute printable from Counting Sheepy, so that is what I used here. I love the green and yellow together, with some gold and glittery accents. I like how this turned out.

Next is my beloved Mini Happy Planner. I have all kinds of donut themed stickers from the Mambi Student Sticker Pack, so why not use them here? This planner is strictly for writing down quotes and other fun stuff, so my spread can reflect that feeling. I have a feeling I’ll be craving donuts all week though, lol!

Wow…these two spreads could not be more different, but I love them both! And that’s the fun part about planning: you can try anything you want!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

The Planner Society July Kit Projects

Hello! Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing a couple projects I’ve made with The Planner Society July kit. Both projects are for my personal size planners.

I found this beautiful green planner at Michaels- the Recollections brand. It matches this kit perfectly! I made a set of pretty dividers with a few embellishments on them. I also created a pocket page out of the smaller red pineapple bag that the kit came in. For the final page in my planner, I laminated some green & white Kate Spade tissue paper, and sprinkled sequins on it before I laminated it. This is one of my favorite techniques lately!! Laminating sequins on paper works surprisingly well!

The second setup I made is for my Kate Spade planner that goes in my bag. I used the same sides of the paper facing outward, because I just love them! I added some doilies to these to make them a little different than my other dividers from the previous setup.

Alright, that’s all for now! I’ll be back with more projects soon!

Happy Planner Weekly Spreads | August 7-13

Hello!

I am so excited to share my weekly layouts this week! In my Classic Happy Planner, I used the new The Pink Passport paper pad from Hobby Lobby that I bought last week. I have been purchasing scrapbook paper for over ten years now, and this paper stands out in my top three favorite paper collections easily. It’s just so my style! The *only* thing that would have made this paper pad perfect in my eyes would have been if they included a poodle design somewhere. Oh well.  🙂

Ok, on to the layout. I loooove it! I have a lot of embellishments here, but I still have plenty of room to write. I also used the rose gold Mambi sticker pack for my to do lists. Grab one now before I buy all of them! 😂The Pink Passport - Hobby Lobby | JM CreatesI’ve really been falling back in love with my Happy Planner lately. I go through phases where I don’t enjoy it for some reason, but I always come back!

Now, on to my Mini Happy Planner. I resisted using more of that paper pad here (well, except for the little sunglasses), so I used the rest of my Planner Society May stickers and some washi this week. I also love this spread! Here’s a look at the full kit. Planner Society July 2017 | JM CreatesThe pen is gorgeous!!Planner Society July 2017 | JM Creates

Now, I’ve wanted Webster’s Pages green planner since last year, but I’ve never actually seen it in person. I never ordered it either.  I also knew that Recollections had a green personal planner. And, at my local Michael’s they were on clearance too! I had to make it mine because it matches perfectly!Planner Society July 2017 | JM CreatesBag of goodies…Planner Society July 2017 | JM CreatesNote: The stamps were missing from the kit when I got it, but they were awesome enough to offer to send them to me! Also, you get so much for your money in these kits, it actually took me a couple hours to realize they were missing! The Planner Society July Kit Stamp | JM CreatesI’ve already dived into this kit, and I’ll share some of my creations soon!

Happy Planner Weekly Spreads | July 31 – August 6

Hello!! It’s the very last day of July already! It’s sad to see a month end, but I always look forward to starting fresh- especially in my planners!

Here’s my weekly spread in my Classic HP this week. I used all Mambi stickers, and no washi this week. I wanted a fun & bright layout this week. Summer Planner Using The Planner Society June Kit

So, I’ve been {impatiently} waiting for my Planner Society July kit to come. What to do while you wait? Create a whole new planner setup using the leftovers from month before!

I saw a couple people on the TPS Facebook group use a blue planner to go with their June kits. This caught my eye! This kit has picnic vibes all over it, and a deep navy blue planner is the blueberry pie on top!  🙂 The planner I used here is a personal size planner by Recollections, found at Michaels.

Here’s what I created…Personal Planner feat. The Planner Society | JM CreatesI laminated the mint doily. I loved the texture of it, but I thought it would get beat up at the front of the planner.June Planner Society Kit | JM CreatesThe blue rosette paperclips seen here- I made ’em! The rosettes can be found at Michaels in a pack of 9. They come in several colors. The blue ones match this planner perfectly, and although I wanted this planner for this kit, the rosettes actually sold me on the whole idea. I attached the rosettes to some beautiful copper paperclips I found at TJ Maxx. June Planner Society Kit | JM CreatesI totally love this setup! It’s fun to even open the planner, which is the whole point- to get me to plan and record my days!June TPS Kit | JM CreatesThank you for stopping by today!

Happy Planner Weekly Spreads | July 24-30

Hello! It’s the last full week of July! I can’t even believe that the summer is going by so quickly! Although, I am planning to put my pumpkin decorations out on August 1st. #ilovefall

Anyway, before I let more of the summer escape, here are my Happy Planner weekly spreads! First up in my Classic HP, I wanted to use this Hello, Sunshine line from Simple Stories that I picked up last year. It’s so bright & cheerful, I just love it. Happy Planner weekly spread July 2017 | JM Creates

It’s a totally different look from my Classic HP spread, but still so summery feeling. Plus, I was a huge The Little Mermaid fan when I was a girl.  🙂Mini Happy Planner mermaid weekly spread | JM CreatesThanks for stopping by today & have a great week!

My New Memory Planner

Hello! I have been toying with the idea of using one of my planners as a memory planner with photos for a while now. I actually have been ‘practicing’ with my large spiral Recollections planner from last year. I really like the idea of using some of my favorite photos from the week and writing a bit about each. Of course, I will use stickers & washi to dress it up too! IMG_9357I decided to use the spiral Unicorn Recollections planner, and when Michael’s had their Happy Planner cover sale last week, I scooped up one of the rainbow covers! It’s perfect for how I want to use it. I can stick extra pictures and stickers I want to use in the pockets.

I didn’t need this unicorn planner- but it’s so much fun & brings out the 10 year old in me! 😉 I am so glad I figured out a use for this planner & cover!IMG_9358These pages will soon be covered in memories…IMG_9359I am also going to try to use my new Sprocket printer to print out some of the photos for this planner. I love the tiny 2×3 size of the photos, and that they’re printed on sticker paper! It’s so quick & easy to use too!IMG_9337Do you use a specific planner to memory plan?

Thanks for stopping by!
