#TBT | Home Sweet Home

Hello! It’s #tbt time again!

Today, I wanted to share a layout from 2013. I used Webster’s Pages on this layout. Remember Webster’s Pages before all the planner stuff?! I used to buy their warehouse boxes every June, because, well, it was a good deal, and I could never find their stuff anywhere in person! I love this paper paired with a simple sepia photo. Home sweet home, indeed.

#TBT | Dreaming of Paradise

Hello! Happy Thursday again!

Time for another #tbt. I really enjoy looking at my past work. I think it’s worthwhile to look back at what I’ve made in the past, because it makes me realize how quickly time passes, plus I forget much more than I’d like to! Also, I get ideas for new pages!!

This layout is from 2012, from my trip to Cocoa Beach, FL. What a paradise. It was my first time at the ocean. I can’t wait to go back!  🙂 I paired lots of Dear Lizzy goodies here with black & white photos. The color in the papers softens the stark black & white photos, I think.

Hello! another week almost done… even June is almost over! Make summer slow down!  🙂

I haven’t been particularly scrappy lately… I guess just slowing down and enjoying the new season, but here’s a favorite #tbt layout from 2013. I love, love, love floral papers, and this one is no exception. It’s bright and happy. I love the color scheme here too. I think I need to use some more black & white photos again soon too.

Hello!! It’s #tbt today… and here’s a layout from 2011 that I made for a class I was taking. I believe it must have been an assignment to make a musical related layout. Adele’s album 21 was obviously my favorite that year! It’s really fun to make layouts like this, because music is so tied to whatever point in life we’re at. When you hear a certain song, you know exactly where you were in life when you first heard it. This layout reminds me that I need to make some new music pages!

Hello!

It’s #tbt again… so today I found this sweet layout of me & my little Maxx from 2011. How pretty is that floral paper? Love it. And add a doily and some butterfly punches… simple, yet effective.  🙂

Hello! Happy Thursday afternoon!

Today, I wanted to share a fun #tbt that is perfect for this time of year. Tomorrow April begins (what??) so the April showers are on their way! I love the little Dear Lizzy sticker that says “You make me happy when skies are grey.” It’s perfect not only for spring, but for Jake, my African Gray on this layout.  🙂

Hello!!

This #tbt is from 2014…not too long ago!  🙂  I love the bright, happy colors on this layout. The papers are all American Crafts, and mostly Amy Tangerine, if I remember correctly. These are just some selfies of mine in my 30th year…and sometimes when you’re having a good hair day, you just want to remember it with some photographic proof, am I right? This is just a happy layout, and I still love it.

Hello!! If it’s Thursday, it’s #tbt time!

This layout is about school…oh, I miss school! It’s been almost a year since I graduated. I don’t miss having homework though! 😉 Spring time at school was so pretty…I loved these trees in front of one of the buildings. This is a great #tbt, because spring really is on the way even if it doesn’t look like it!

Hello there! We are almost through another week. February has flown by faster than I ever remember! Hey, the faster we get to spring, the better!

Today, i have a layout from 2014…I loved this paper from Dear Lizzy. I definitely wanted to play up the numbers on it. I used a simple B&w photo to keep the eye on the bright colors of the layout. A very, very simple layout, but I still loved it!

Hello there! We’re in the final days of January, can you believe it?
Today I wanted to share a layout from 2014. I love the blues and pinks in this layout. It feels kind of shabby chic to me. This time of year, I am really into softer colors after the bright colors of fall and Christmas.
