Holiday Wrap-up 2016

Hello there! I have been wanting to put this post together for about a month now (how has it been a month since Christmas??). I just wanted to wrap-up Christmas 2016 and share a few favorite photos.

My ever-so girly tree.

Athena’s Christmas dress.

Our main (upside-down) tree.

Jake was checking out the Gurglepot to make sure it was ok to have in the house.  🙂

I made these last two photos into cards on the Becky Higgins’ Project Life app. I love how easy it is to put something nice and professional looking together so easily!

That’s it for Christmas! And that’s about how quickly it goes by in real time too! Onto Valentine’s Day…

Scrapbook Layout | Maxx Fall 2016

Yay! I actually scrapbooked a bunch of layouts this past weekend! It’s not that I haven’t wanted to before… I just needed time to get relaxed and inspired!

Here’s one of my favorites I made- a pretty fall layout with a new photos of my little Maxx. I kept it clean and simple, as I wanted the photo and the pretty leaves to be the focus.

I’ll be back with more layouts soon!  🙂

Leaves… Michaels

Paper… Photo Play

Birds… Wilna Furstenberg

Hello! Happy Labor Day weekend!

Just popping in to share a patriotic layout with you, featuring my little Maxx.  🙂

Have a great week!

August in Photos

Hello! We are knocking on September and fall’s door, aren’t we?

Well, in the meantime, I wanted to do a little photo roundup of August. August was all about my Happy Planner (still obsessed!), the heat, birthdays, get-togethers, all the new magazines, flowers, and getting bitten by all the bugs outside. Ouch! Overall, it was a good month. It’s funny, I took fewer photos this month than in previous months, but the ones I did take are so much more meaningful!

Perfect 10!

I just wanted to share a couple photos of my Jakey girl- she’s 10 years old today! She’s such a wonderful girl- so smart, pretty and wise. She makes this world a more fun place to be, for sure!  🙂

Scrapbook Layout | Hello Sunshine

Hello! Welcome August! Wow, summer has flown by. It’s actually been hot enough to qualify as summer, too! It’s fun to see all the fall and back t school stuff arrive in stores, but let’s hold onto summer a little longer.

Today I wanted to share a very summery layout. My little Maxx had his birthday a couple weeks ago, and this was one of his birthday photos. I love how he is always up for a little photo session. I thought all the colors in the papers and embellishments went perfectly with the pic. Love this page! One of my new faves.

Happy Birthday Maxx!

My sweet little Maxx is 12 years old today!! He is such a treasure, and the sweetest cockatiel I have ever known, from the very start. I have known him since he was 6 1/2 weeks old.

I can’t wait to see what the next 12+ years brings with Maxx!

Hello! Happy Sunday!

Today I thought I would round up my favorite photos of July so far. It’s been a fun month!

First up, our hydrangeas have been sparse, but very beautiful!

Silly Jake!

Scrapbook Layout | Color my World

Hello! Happy Tuesday after a long weekend!

Today I wanted to share a cute little layout with my little Moe. He loves to scrunch up in his cup and I caught him doing it one day when I had my camera on me. I wanted this page to be fun and colorful, just like he is.  🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Layout | Slice of Everyday Life

Hello! Happy Tuesday!!

I just wanted to stop by and share a new layout. I have had this watermelon paper in my stash for forever… I decided to finally use it!  🙂 Sometimes when there is a large pattern on scrapbook papers, I get scared to use them. I don’t want to cover the pattern, but too much can’t show. Know what I mean? I kept it simple here, with just a cute candid photo of me & Athena, and some Felicity Jane black & white paper. Add a title and a little date stamp, and that’s a wrap!
