Happy October!!

Hello! Welcome to October!

I think October is one of my very favorite months of the year. I’m excited because the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo is coming to my town later this week. I have been waiting {impatiently} since last year for it to come back! I’ll be sure to share my haul next week. Also, today is my sweet mom’s birthday, so we’ll be celebrating! Happy September

I love September.

It’s a fresh start.

Days get shorter.

The leaves begin to turn.

So many fun fall events happen.

I am so ready for a new season.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day everyone! Hope your day is filled with sun, fun, good food, and a few fireworks! Even my little birds are in a patriotic spirit!  🙂

Secret Garden

Her heart was a secret garden, and the walls were very high. -William Goldman, The Princess Bride

When I took this photograph a few days ago, the first thought that came to mind was ‘secret garden’. I love when a photo takes you somewhere else and makes you think.

Happy Easter!

He is risen…

What a wonderful day to count your blessings. It seems we are always climbing to the next point, or waiting for our next chapter to begin, but just for today, we should take some time and appreciate all we already have.

Have a wonderful Easter holiday!

Hello November!

Welcome November!

In this month, autumn hits its peak, my birthday comes around (!!!!), and Thanksgiving day begins the countdown to the holiday season. I love this month and can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Thanks for stopping by!

I’m so glad the week is almost over. I am on ‘staycation’ next week, so I’m looking forward to that!! I have lots of fun trips & scrappin’ ahead of me & I just got some fun new stuff, so I’m itching to get to it! And, it’s finally gonna be around 90 degrees here, so I’m ready.

this is waiting for me…

More about my hobby

I started scrapbooking in 2006 as a result of trying to sort our family pictures. I wanted to highlight certain special occasions/favorite pictures. So I bought some paper & new pens, and it just snowballed from there. Next thing I knew, I was buying little embellishments and stickers and idea books. I’m definitely hooked on this hobby! Now I like to post my work on scrap websites and I like researching the different companies and seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

I have my own scrapbook room, and I’ll add pics of that later. It’s my place to create!
