Kate Spade Carlisle Street Planner

I was cruising around on Ebay one morning, and I came across a great deal on this Kate Spade planner. I could never bear to spend that much on a planner…. maybe I could if it was the only one I would ever want, but that’s clearly not the case! And, since I don’t live anywhere near a Kate Spade Outlet, I went ahead & ordered this beauty! I am gonna give her a good home!  🙂

She’s the Carlisle Street patent leather polka dot personal size agenda. It came with all of the 2017 inserts too, so I was extra happy because they are cute too! IMG_8739My plan is to carry her with me , kind of like an extra wallet. I like the idea of having a small planner with info I might need to know on the go with me.IMG_8783I think she looks lovely when paired with my other planners!IMG_8788Thanks for stopping by! I have another new planner that just came… I’ll share next week! (Hint: TPS)

p.s. Happy Summer!heart_jen

Carpe Diem Planner | Summer Setup

Hello! Today I wanted to share how I set up my Coral A5 Carpe Diem Planner for summer. This coral planner matched way more than you think it would! I love how the colors of my accessories pop against it. I mostly used the DCWV Bahama Mama paper pad from Michael’s to set this planner up. I made a few dividers and cut up some of the quote cards that were included in the paper pad. I also used a couple pieces from my May Planner Society kit. I used a green rosette fabric trim from my stash to pull it all together. The pineapple charm at the bottom of the planner on the rings is by Vera Bradley. I hope you enjoyed seeing my setup! Do you change up your planners according to the season?

8 Years!

Just a little note that today marks my 8th anniversary of starting my blog! I started Jenna’s Wonderland at a Blogspot address in 2009, and now I love my space here at Jen Manis Creates.

I can’t believe it’s been so long! I still enjoy sharing my crafty adventures, and can’t wait to see what’s next on my journey at my space on the web!

I thought I’d re-introduce myself to you all today with 5 things about me.

  1. I love all things related to scrapbooking, memory keeping, and planning. I have been scrapbooking since 2006.
  2. Scrapbooking led me to where I am today. I fell in love with design and photography, so I went back to school a few years ago and pursued a degree in those things!
  3. I have four beautiful little birds, who talk up a storm and keep me entertained daily! I’ve had parrots my entire life, in fact!
  4. I am an old soul. Don’t get me wrong, I love modern day conveniences (hello internet!), but I think I was meant for another era. I am inspired by the 20’s, 40’s and 50’s.
  5. I am a very proud introvert. People have tried to change me my whole life, but I am who I was meant to be!

Thanks for stopping by today & every time! Here’s to the next 8 years!

Happy Planner Weekly Spreads | June 5-11

Hello and happy Monday! I have a couple fun Happy Planner spreads to share today!

First up is my Classic HP. I have been kind of obsessed with collecting pineapple stickers so I could do a pineapple layout. I love all the yellow in this spread. Perfect for the start of summer! Summer & sunshine. Love!Happy Planner Spread June 5-11I always keep it simple for my Mini HP, and this week I just wanted it to feature some fun unicorn stickers from the new Mambi student sticker pack. Friday Planner Thoughts

I love Fridays. But I think Fridays in the summertime are even better. I can’t wait to spend a little bit of my weekend with part of my lovely planner stash! I am still obsessed with my Happy Planners! In particular, my mini. Every time I think I can put it away for a bit (so I can enjoy other planners in my stash), I keep coming back for more! Like Mary Poppins says, it’s practically perfect in every way. 😊IMG_8548

Oops… I added a new planner into my stash this past weekend. I love these Recollections planners by Michaels. I have been using hourly sheets in my minis HP for most of this year, and I have been eyeing those expensive Erin Condren hourly planners. I really dig the whole hourly planning thing. And then I saw Recollections had new hourly planners- I had to get one! Come on July 1st!!

So, here’s what I’m going to do to make this planner exactly how I want it to be. I just ordered the covers I really, really wanted from EC, and I’m going to put that bad boy on my Recollections planner! I know the EC covers are just a smidge different than the Recollections, but I don’t care. Frankenplanner all the way!IMG_8554Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend & happy planning!

The Planner Society | May 2017 Kit

I did it. I finally subscribed to The Planner Society main planner kit. I’ve been looking at these for at least a year, maybe longer. It never seemed like the right time for me to take on something like that. I’ve been scrapbooking since 2006, and I’ve never subscribed to any kit clubs! I’ve purchased one-off kits or past kits, yes, but never committed to a kit club until now!

I love the look of the May kit, but I just kept scrolling on, like I always do. I really love this Palm Springs theme though. And all the Planner Girl goodies- like the clip, the stamp, the notepad…

When the registration stayed open an extra day,  I took it as a sign from above that I was meant to have this kit. I clicked subscribe, and I am so happy I did! When the box came, it was like Christmas morning!! I don’t know how long I’ll keep my subscription going, but as long as they look as beautiful as this, it may be forever!

Here are just a few things I’ve made with the contents of this gorgeous kit…and I still have a few things left to use!

I purchased this kit on my own, and I only endorse companies and products that I truly love & use, and that I think my readers will love too!
